Is this Overshirt made from bananas? Well, not exactly. In fact, it is crafted from Bananatex®, a textile purely made from the fibers of a banana plant called abacá.
The compostable and biodegradable material is naturally antibacterial, UV resistant and durable. It has a soft touch to it, which you'll surely fall in love with!

We are a Swiss Brand and all our Swiss orders are shipped from our warehouses in Switzerland.
All EU orders are shipped from our warehouse in Austria. Hence, EU customers will not face additional custom duties or additional VAT charges after receiving our deliveries.
You can return the product within 30 days if it does not fit you.

Bananatex® is crafted entirely from the fibers of the abacá plant. The versatile and durable textile is breathable, naturally antibacterial, resistant to UV exposure and odors and free from pilling.
We rely on long-term cooperation with partners who uphold social standards and fair pay for their employees.
Why we use
Organic Cotton
We want to protect people and nature from harmful practices. The growth of organic cotton does not allow the use of GMO seeds, pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. This protects nature as well as the people growing the cotton as they don't get in touch with toxic substances. Instead, farmers use natural fertilizers and natural pest controls. They also practice crop rotation which means that they also grow soy, wheat or other crops. This increase the nutrients in the soils and gives them an additional source of income.
Our clothes are made under fair working conditions in Europe. Most of fabrics and shirts are manufactured in Portugal. Some others, as well as our made-to-measure shirts, are produced in Bosnia. Manufacturing in Europe is important to us in order to keep the transport distances short and to maintain craftsmanship and knowledge of textile production in Europe. Our partners are specialists in what they do. This way we can guarantee you high-quality, long-lasting products.
